A WHOLISTIC APPROACH TO GREATER HEALTH AND BODY PERFORMANCE

Ten Series, Targeted Sessions, Post Ten Tune Up Sessions,

I Offer 3 kinds of work.

Ten Series posture balancing work

Targeted Sessions

Post Series Advanced 3 session Tune up work

The Ten Series posture balancing program as taught by Ida P. Rolf has many long lasting results that promote great health and longevity for your body. It is what got Dr. Ida Rolf’s structural bodywork known. The posture balancing program will have a neural muscular reeducating effect that can allow you to have an effortless vertical postural alignment.

Great health benefits are expected, beyond just the posture balancing and overall loosening effects. Once your nervous system is re patterned and in the new habit of correct alignment after the Ten Series, higher lung capacity becomes possible. Better brain function, glandular system balance, and improved function of all major organs are a known and proven by product of having higher lung capacity.

According to Ida Rolf, “[Her Rolf Method Structural Integration technique] is permanent.” -- Ida P. Rolf

The posture change can last upwards of 10 years after your first initial 10 sessions! Occasionally 3 to 5 Tune up sessions are recommended to maintain proper alignment once every year or two.

The 10 series is a great long-term investment for the health and longevity of your body and something that everyone should experience for improved quality of life.

Post Ten Advanced Sessions are great to use when you begin to notice it being more challenging to effortlessly maintain alignment after your Ten Series. Over time the body needs to be rebalanced. These are great to keep the body open and in alignment over the long term. Time between post 10 advanced series is a personal thing. Some get tune up work as little as once every year or 2 or as much as 2 to 4 times a year. It depends on what your goals are and what you put your body through, like people who play sports that are harder on the body can require more work.

Targeted Sessions are great for loosening and releasing targeted areas, pain management, or if you are one of those people who can’t “seem to get deep enough massages” or “the massages are not making your issue go away. This is another option for longer lasting stress relief and greater joint mobility being a by-product of this deeper form of bodywork.

Targeted sessions are great for athletic performance by enhancing recovery time and achieving more efficient muscles. These types of sessions are very useful before and after intense competitions. Philip has worked with hundreds of professional athletes for every kind of body performance need you could imagine including CrossFit people, marathon runners, powerlifters, Yoga and meditators, martial artists, dancers, and much more.

Who created Rolf Method of Structural Integration?

Dr. Ida P. Rolf was the founder of the modality called The Rolf Method of Structural Integration in 1968. She had a Ph.D in Biochemistry and was interested in and studied many alternative healing modalities. She designed the system as a way to deeply manipulate and reorganize the fascial connective tissue system which surrounds every muscle and organ in the body. She created a 10 session series focusing on a different part of the body each session, to bring the body back into alignment with gravity. Yoga, Osteopathy, and The Alexander Technique most influenced Dr. Rolf in her creation of the 10 series posture balancing program.
